Delegate Lashrecse Aird

In 2021, Delegate Lashrecse Aird ran for re-election to the Virginia House of Delegates, where she had served since 2015. Among many other wonderful achievements, Delegate Aird proposed, sponsored, and helped pass bills that increased eligibility for families in need, expanded the scope of the Virginia Human Rights Act, helped improve environmental conditions via the Virginia Clean Economy Act, and protected voting rights with the Voting Rights Act of Virginia.
